Salvaging greens - Guild Wars Forums

Hi, does anyone know if, when u salvage a green (with expert salvaging kit of course), u can get a weapon mod for it? (dont wanna waste a greenie

)

You can't salvage a green, it won't allow you to.

You also can't salvage collector weapons so if you add upgrades to them you won't be able to get them back. I think that also applies to quest reward items, not 100% sure though.

Yeah, it does also apply to quest rewards. I tried to salvage that poisonous bow from the 'blankets for settlers' quest and got the 'can't salvage' message.
